At Billie Box, we feel that building trust is an important part of conducting business. Although our existing customers already know that we are reliable, knowledgeable and efficient, one of the ways in which we can show new customers our credibility is by joining both the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and the British Chamber of Commerce – organisations we are proud to be a part of since 2019.
A Chamber of Commerce is a voice of authenticity, aiding British businesses in re-enforcing their credibility and giving customers peace of mind when purchasing a product or service. When a business is part of the Chamber of Commerce, customers can be assured that they are parting with their money safely, and will receive exactly what they were advertised in return.
We at Billie Box believe that this sense of safety is important to customers in our industry, which has recently been hit with a number of bogus companies that have been employing scams, such as taking payment and not following through with the delivery of the container. Although it is only a small number of groups or individuals carrying out these scams, just one case of misconduct can encourage a lack of confidence towards the many credible businesses that make up this industry.
To avoid this image, businesses can join the Chamber of Commerce, which carries out checks and thus only allows accredited companies as members. This is exactly what we have decided to do, as we do not want our years of hard work to be tarnished by a small few.
Although we are very proud to carry this seal of approval from this prestigious business network, this new connection does not change the way we do business. We have been conducting safe and verified transactions for years and have created strong relationships with existing customers that we intend to maintain for as long as we are established. The only aspect of Billie Box that will change is the ability to include the British Chamber of Commerce logo on our correspondence and our website.
