Billie Box is committed to responsible business practices. Part of this commitment is that we are now Bronze members for the Suffolk Wildlife Trust (SWT).

The fact that we can re-purpose ex shipping containers is proof that we are avoiding waste and recycling ethically.
Why We Support Suffolk Wildlife Trust
Suffolk Wildlife Trust works to protect and restore Suffolk’s wildlife and inspire people to take action to protect our environment. We love these ethics and want to embrace them and this encompasses our company values.
When Jane met Sophie Flux of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, she was inspired. Jane said “Sophie has so much passion about the charity and the work they are doing. The passion was infectious and I felt straight away that this is a charity for Billie Box”
What Bronze Membership Means
This membership allows us to support the charity by getting involved with the charity’s events and help with their work.
Our company now offers a day off a month, to each employee, to get involved with the charities we support. So Clare is going to offer her day a month to the SWT. She is really looking forward to seeing and getting involved with one of the projects at a local farm.
Our contribution will actively help the charity to make a difference to the Suffolk wildlife and the surrounding environment. We are absolutely delighted to be able to assist.
Sustainability and the Shipping Container Industry
We offer shipping containers for sale or rent. They are perfect as a secure store or we even re-purpose them into many facilities such as chemical stores, portable offices and canteens. By re-purposing these containers we are extending their life and avoiding landfill, being friendly to the environment.
We also refurbish containers to avoid scrapping them. As an example a second hand shipping container will be approx. 15 years old, but then it should last another 15 years of site storage with a little maintenance over that time.
